Given the timeline above of my exposure to media from traditional to new media, it evidently shows how media have evolved over time. Undoubtedly, the media has a huge impact on society in a variety of ways. It is the medium for the public that assists us in obtaining knowledge about a variety of topics as well as forming opinions and making judgments on a variety of subjects. Additionally, it is the media that keeps us up to date and informed about what is going on in our communities and throughout the world.   Although media can negatively affect us, it is into us in how we consume it responsibly and effectively.
